¿Están los trabajadores familiarizados con el concepto y las prácticas de responsabilidad social empresarial? Un caso de estudio

Las prácticas de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa practicadas por las empresas asumen un protagonismo creciente, y dar a conocer estas mismas prácticas, interna y externamente, es fundamental. A través de un estudio de caso, luego de seleccionar una empresa con un amplio programa de prácticas de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial que abarcan diferentes áreas, se pretende analizar las percepciones de los trabajadores sobre (i) el conocimiento del concepto de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial y (ii) ) conocimiento de las prácticas de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa. Como resultado de este análisis, se pretende recopilar un conjunto de buenas prácticas de la empresa e indicar potenciales mejoras en el ámbito de la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa. Las principales conclusiones destacan algunas dimensiones, como la antigüedad en la empresa, el nivel de formación o la función desempeñada, que influyen en la percepción de cada uno sobre el concepto y las prácticas de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial. En general, los trabajadores conocen y caracterizan las prácticas de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, destacando algunos de los programas más difundidos, por lo que podemos concluir que la apuesta constante de la empresa por la cultura y las artes, como práctica visible y mediatizada de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, es reconocida por sus empleados y también por el público en general.
